The most probable problem, when uploading an image or a photo, is that you do not the right file format. There is a very good software that comes free with Windows is call "MS paint". It can help you correct the file format of your photos and images.
Just go to "start" and click on "RUN" on Windows desktop. The run box will open. In the run box type "mspaint" command and press Enter. The MS Paint software will start. Go to file tab in MS Paint and select your photo's location path from the directory. When the selected photo opens in the MS paint after this go to the file tab again and select "SAVE AS" not "save".
You will see a Window opening if the MS Paint is corresponding to Windows XP. At the bottom of that window drop down menu you will find many file formats like gif, pnp,bmp etc. Select "JPG" or it is also called "JPEG". Select it and save your photo.
Now your phto will be having a jpeg format which will be accepted by facebook and almost all the sites on internet due to its popularity.
I hope I have solved you problem.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Edit my photo on facebook

Mabee the hard drive has failed . try entering bios and see if the hard drive is recognised .If not try turning the computer off unplug it then reconnect the drive data cable and power cable
then re- start the computer and see if it is recognised. some models of older hard drives needed a driver installed during set up -- you usually have to put the driver on a floppy disc and hit the f6 button when prompted by windows set up to install third party drivers . I hope this helps

There are different reasons why you may not be able to access your account and unique ways to contact Facebook for each case. Therefore, it is important to be sure that you are using the correct channel when submitting a request for help. First, identify the correct reason why you are unable to access your account from the three reasons that are listed below. Then, follow the instructions listed by the reason that pertains to you.
  1. Disabled for violating Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities
Facebook accounts that have been reported or detected for policy violations may be disabled by Facebook. Possible reasons include, but are not restricted to:
    • Continued prohibited behavior after receiving a warning or multiple warnings from Facebook
    • Unsolicited contact with others for the purpose of harassment, advertising, promoting, dating, or other inappropriate conduct
    • Use of a fake name
    • Impersonation of a person or entity, or other misrepresentation of identity
    • Posted content that violates Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (this includes any obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit photos, as well as any photos that depict graphic violence. We also remove content, photo or written, that threatens, intimidates, harasses, or brings unwanted attention or embarrassment to an individual or group of people)

Please review Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities to learn more about specific types of conduct and content that are not permitted on the site.

If you have not posted violating content or otherwise violated the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, click here.

  2. Security disabled
Accounts that have been reported or detected as compromised or phished may be disabled by Facebook. If you think your account was disabled for security reasons, refer to the Security section of the Help Center to find the correct contact form.

  3. Can't log in due to access issues
If you are disabled, you will clearly see a "Disabled" message when you try to log in to your account. If you do not see this message, then your account is not disabled and you are simply experiencing login issues. You should refer to the Login and Password section of the Help Center to find the correct contact form.

    Examples of login issues include:
    • Inability to log in due to password problems
    • Inability to log in due to an error message (e.g., "Site Maintenance," "Invalid/Unregistered Email Address," etc.)
    • Inability to log in due to forgetting one's login email address or password
    • Other technical difficulties accessing Facebook

How to get pictures from disc to Facebook profile.Windows

hi,
Seems that you are trying to upload you photos to share it with your friends from the Compact Disc (CD).
It can be done in the following way. Put the CD in your computer and save the photos in the hard disk (e.g In D: drive) in a specific location. After doing that, log on to "Face book" page and click on Photos option. Once you do that, a plug-in will be installed in your computer. Using that you can upload photos to face Book from the place where you have saved all the photos. I have shown the pictures of my step by step instructions. Please use them. Please rate my solution as helpful.

I just joined facebook 3 days ago i put the wrong pic on my profile and every time i try to get on it comes up her facebook and friends how can i cancel and start over

Your Facebook account remains yours even if you cancel.
If all that happened is that the wrong picture was uploaded, you can change that.
Log into Facebook.
Click on Profile at the top of the web page.
Click on Photos tab at the top area of the profile page.
Click the photo you want to change and select change profile picture Link is above the photo)

Facebook accounts are based on email addresses. Your account, once confirmed, will have friends you have added, photos you have uploaded, and postings made by your friends and family.
Your account could have the same friends as someone else. They are called mutual friends.
Please add more information to clarify the problem if this does not help your situation.
