Over the weekend i went to use my phone and I had "white horizontal lines" across the top half of my display screen.
Does anyone know what this is from? Never mishandled the phone, never exposed to water, or anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Without seeing it exactly, it sounds like it could be one of two issues:
You should try charging and resetting your ereader. Please be sure to save everything, as your system will go back to its original default settings.
If option 1 does not work, it sounds like you may have damaged the internal "ink" - this typically happens by dropping the ereader. If this is the case, unfortunately the damage is permanent by can be fixed by a professional or via Sony.
I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!
hi what u need to do is go on ebay get another screen then go to www.blueunplgged.com and type in the name of your phone like nokia 3410 screwdriver get this screw driver and i will tell you what to do cost of this in all 10pounds or i have the tools to sell you if you would like once you have done all of this E mail me firstname.lastname@example.org
A big black mark (often looks like an ink blotch) on a mostly white screen usually means that the screen was somehow damaged/broken. The Dash is a rather good device; however, it's been known to experience cracked (inner) screen issues on a slightly more frequent basis than other comparable mobile devices.
The company that I work for sees this issue a few times a month with the Dash, and unfortunately it's just a matter of replacing it at this point.
I'm sorry this isn't a happier answer.

i know its hard to belive but you may have cracked the screen by just
bumping into something its a common problem with large screen phones i
have tha same problem, you could buy a new ascreen on ebay have
it installed or try to remember how to use it with out a screen,
besides that if you dont have a protection plan on your phone youde
have to buy a new one, and remember protections plans vary depending on
the phone but are well worth it in case things do go wrong even if its
not your fault
do a sw reset. turn the phone off, press and hold the soft keys (buttons with the lines on them above the home key and back arrow key) and hold it down.....press the power button while you are doing that until the white t-mobile screen will come on, then instead of going to the green windows mobile screen, a black screen with white writing......press the green button....it will get you in your phone but it will erase your info as a result....
