Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
If the timer works then it is possible that the magnetron is faulty provided the high volatge flows in thrrough the mains transformer and the coupled capacitor.
If the magnetron seems good , then check the transformer and the capacitor.If suspect change and proceed.
Please check the fuse to this unit and also if the relay engages the power to the magnetron. If not check the relay drive and replace the drive transistor if faulty.
