Question about Insignia NS-PDVD8 Portable DVD Player
Which Insignia model are you refering to? Normally I would say that the backlight has gone out in your player, but if this is happening on both player and accessory screen, this could be the video settings.
First, on the player screen, press the SETUP button and navigate to the video controls. Navigate to the Brightness and set it to the middle setting, then do the same for your Contrast. You should be able to see this as this should not affect the on-screen icons...only the images on the screen. This should fix the problem for both screens.
If this does not fix this problem, then I would need more information about the unit and what it is doing to diagnose the root cause and propose a possible solution.
