Question about Apple iPod touch
This is how you can recover your device:
Warning: Restoring will delete all data on your device but this is the only way for you to recover it.
If you don't get it at first, try holding the buttons for lesser time or see the other procedures on my tip (link below):

This is actually a difficult thing. First reset the unit by holding the home and sleep key for 10 seconds. This will reboot the unit but it most likely wont fix the disabled screen. The unit being disabled means the password was entered incorrectly too many times. If you forgot the passcode that is not a problem. Just follow the steps i have outlined below. If this doesnt work on resetting the password please let me know and i will instruct you how to force a restore on the unit itself.
According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following:
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage
its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features
again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note
that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is
to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data." If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to
assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.
