I have a MDG5500AWW It will turn on and the burner will start but will go out within a minute and will not come back on

It sounds like you have an air flow issue or possibly a bad coil on your gas valve. Take the vent hose of the back of the dryer and see if the problem goes away. If not, a bad coil could be the culprit.

Maytag Neptune MDG5500AWW gas dryer ignites, then flame goes out

The 'radiant sensor/ needs to be replaced. This sensor tells the system that the flame is lit and everything is good. Go to repairclinic.com

Maytag mdg5500aww gas dryer sensor

First of all shut off the power by pulling out the plug.

If you are sure of the sensor issue then you need to remove four screws on the inside of the door. Two screws are located on the left and two on the right, look at the hinge and you will find two. The door will lift out when you remove the screws. When the screws are out of the front, the front panel can be remove by pulling on the outside surface.
