The PNY Optima SDHC 4G mem card cannot be formatted on the camera and can't be read on the computer.

Check write protection on side of card. Plus, was the card formatted on a MAC or Linux? Window and most devices use FAT or FAT32 formats.

My camera and the memory card got wet a few days ago. When i try to load the card onto my computer it doesnt read the card. Does this mean all the photos are gone for good?

The card is most likely done for but there are a few tricks you can try. If the card is still wet then no device will be able to read it and while it might appear dry there could be residual water inside the unit. The most effective way to get water out is to put it inside a container of white rice (not that you will eat after using it this way) so that the card is completely immersed and leave it in for at least a week. The rice will act like the little packs you see in boxes of electronics and **** the water out of the air and nearby items. You could also use those gel packs if you happen to have any lying around.
If this doesn't work, take the card to a local geek repair center (most electronics stores have their own versions now) and they might be able to do emergency recovery for a fee.

My T-Mobile Dash won't read a 4gb SD card

Most T-Mobile Dash phones will only recognize a 2gb sd card. I've only heard of some 4gb cards working, what type of card do you have? Unfortunately it's probably a compatibility issue and you'll need to get a 2gig scandisk, a 4gb scandisk might work, I'm not sure though.

4gb memory card but when songs are bluetoothed sayes mem full

Hi there

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

    Nokia N95 Orange Too Slow.

hi.. the reason for ur slow operation of ur mobile might be due to some software problem...The only way to get rid of this problem is that to format ur entire mobile...Or the other one may be due to full use of ur memory card...I mean for example if u are using 1 gb memory card u are not suppose to fill ur mobile completely for 1 gb.. try to some keep some memory space which will ease ur mobile opeartion...

What's max mem size for ipaq 1950

Mem cards are added as storage cards and do not add up to your iPaq RAM.

You can use mem cards to add up space to install applications. (ie. it is something similar to installing a new Harddrive on your PC). However the physical RAM of your iPaq cannot be extended.

PocketPC programs have small RAM requirements so your PDA's built-in RAM will suffice.

As far as the maximum card size if I understood your question right, if your iPaq comes with Windows Mobile v5 or earlier, it supports SD cards up to 2GB and perhaps some non SDHC standard SD cards up to 4GB. If you can upgrade to WM6, then WM6 supports SDHC cards, so you can install >4GB cards.

    Hope this helps.

    Storrage on camera

First off did you format ur memory card? Casio only has 3 brands of memory cards they have tested their cameras with....Sandisc, Toshiba, and Panasonic. The exz600 can take up to a 2 GB card from those manufacturers with no problem. I would make sure that your mem card is formatted. If it is, try a different card. If you don't care about the pics that are stored on your internal mem then you can format your camera, put in a new mem card and then format that. You always have the option of transfering the pics to ur computer first before formatting. After formatting make sure you reset your camera also. Format: in REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to format press right arrow make sure format highlighted and press set Camera will say "busy please wait" Reset: In REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to reset press right arrow make sure reset is highlighted & press set.
