If there is no detection of the disc, try to clean the optical head. If the display does not show any reading, the disc is running but fails to detect, then the optical head is defective and needs a change.
However if there is no movement of the drives then it is possible that the main board is defective, the processor controller.
Check the estimation of the parts and decide.
