Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
You didn't give us much detail (model, keyboard type) but it could be as simple as having the audio muted, either from the keyboard or the sound controller.
Look for a small speaker icon on the right of your task bar (bottom of screen) to see if it is 'Xed' out.
If you have external speakers with a separate power supply, the supply may have failed (check to see if still warm) or the speaker supplied has expired; the amplifier for both is in the speaker attached to the plug-in power supply.
