Possible that the capacitorr or the magnetron is deffective,
Please open the covers and see for failure of the fuse, if blown replace if not check for the capacitor, or the magnetron.
Check if the controller unit supplies the power to the magnetron and still it does not work.
Hope you try this out.

My microwave keeps telling me "Food" and will not turn on or heat anything.

if opening the door and closing it again wont clear this message, you have a door switch fault that will need to be repaired by a appliance tech

I have phoned 08000094837 to report i have a fridge freezer 0610422010, CDA539F, which i beleive is on the list of faulty ones, but i keep getting cut off. what do i do now. Thanks missJ Gilmour

You have a Beko model which may have the fire risk fault as the serial number begins 06.

The story has been going for a while now, but as it was widely reported yesterday then you will definitely have problems calling the Freephone line as many other owners will also be worried.

You only have two options:-

1. Continue to try and call the helpline, or;

2. Visit the Beko recall website and click on the link at the bottom of the page. You'll effectively get exactly the same response as for the phone number.

You may also wish to read the BBC News report which gives details of the fault.

Just bought a new rca microwave oven RMW1143 it keeps blowing my breaker.. how do i change the power settings or do you have any other solutions

As this appliance is only rated at 700 Watt which means it draws about 1200 Watts. A 15 Amp breaker is fine and if it is blowing a reason must be found. Is it an earth leakage breaker? if it is then is there a possible fault?
I would get the appliance tested for electrical leakage if the size of the breaker is not the problem.

My circut breaker keeps triping. i need to know how many amps it uses so i can get the right breaker

Most domestic microwave ovens draw arount 1kWatt on microwave and the same again for convection.
If it is a European country (230Volts) maximum power will be 10 Amps, 20 Amps on 110Volts.
If the breaker is an RCD type, you have an earth line fault!

It starts and then just suddenly stops. Lights are still on, it keeps time--just stops. It usually starts again in a little bit--but sometime it takes several tries to get it going.

In all likelihood the magnetron is failing , or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons. You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man. Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.
