SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: how do I reassemble crank on a GT mountain bike?

Okay!
First you need to know that you have all the parts needed to put it on. The List: --Both left and right crankarms (right side has the gears)
--Axle installed into the frame (no? take it to a bike shop... specialty tooling is required to put them on and there is no way to fudge around it with general tools found in most homes)
-- Two nuts or bolts that thread easily into the axle ( check that they do by threading them in by hand)
-- A ratchet handle and thin wall 14mm socket
Method:
Hook the chain onto the smallest gear and slide it onto the axle arm until it stops, give it a light tap with your hand to make sure that it's stuck on, thread on the nut or bolt that fit onto the axle and thread it on until it touches the arm (already on).
Sit the bike upside down, or on a stand so that the crankarm can swing freely in the air. Now take the other arm and put it on with the pedal at the top, facing away from the frame, tap it on with your hand and thread the other nut or bolt on with your free hand.
Grab the ratchet and tighten both nuts with enough force to ensure that they won't come off ( try picking up a 50lb bag of something with one hand as an example of the amount of force needed, that should be enough force to keep them on).
Carefully take it out for a test ride then come back and let us know how you did!

Raise handlebars on mountain bicycle

This will depend on what sort of stem you have. Most mountain bikes these days use a clamping style stem that simply grips the steerer tube on the fork. Some will have limited adjustment in that they may have a stack of 2 or 3 spacers that you can place either over the stem or below the stem. This does not give much adjustment. On my wife's bike the stem is actually adjustable similair to this: MEC 110mm Adjustable Stem Mountain Equipment Co op
and might be a good option for this bike.

I am looking for bike that is a cross between a bmx bike and a mountain bike, ive seen the mongoose ritual series any other suggestions ?

Dude it basically is just a hardtail mountain bike shrunk down with a CroMo frame instead of the standard Alum frames everyone else uses. What is it that you're looking for as all bike makers have something very similar to this, I just bought my son a GT that looks almost identical.

What type of mountain bike are they?

There are six main types of mountain bikes. These include: comfort, hybrid, hardtail, single speed, full suspension and freeride. One of these types of bikes will fit your style and riding needs. Talk with a bike salesperson to determine which one will work best for you.

Dyno mountain bike with a braking noise

If it is when you pedal, check the bottom bracket (where the cranks are attached) The bearings might need changing which would cause the noise.

Do the handlebars rock back and forward, if so, check and tightent the headset, check the bearings inside if they are dry or broken, replace and re-grease.
