Our freezer still is in working order but our fridge is not cold. what is the prob?

Hay Paul ,
1) Are the door gaskets torn ?
2) Is the fridge empty , in order for the unit to cycle it must replace warm air with cold air .

The "damper" that open and closes is not working. It is controlled electronically with a thermostat. Here is the part to order.

check for frost in the back of the freezer if there is its a defrost prob

thi s happened to my fridge this summer, freezer ok fridge not cold. the techniciansaid it was a wire loose somewhere between the freezer mech and teh fridge, it wasn't defrosting the frost on the vanes in backof the frzr. we think it was loose allalong as the delivery "men" really whacked the hell out of the whole thing and it just took a coupel years for it to come loose rest of the way.

if the freezer is cold and the fridge is not then it can be several things. The freezer could have a bunrt out defrost heater, defrost timer faulty, fan not working in the freezer??. all of these things will stop your fridge getting cold, but your freezer will still be around minus 9 deg c. you wont get any air into the fridge as the coil in the freezer is prob all iced over. Dont worry about the heat on the door frame as it is only the anti sweat heater

the coil in the freezer is prob iced over not letting any air pass over it into the fridge, and the defrost heater or defrost timer is prob burnt out

I also have probs with Belling Bi 60 less than 3 yrs old...already had
enginneer out & paid......now fridge aint cooling showing H
its frost free and this may be too sensitive ??
tried unplugging no Go

wont buy Belling again

what type of fridge is it ? had same prob with a samsung sr - l628ev fixed prob but i cant explain by email

Based on your weird display issues I'd lean toward the control board problem. At least that can be "one" of a couple problems...
