Hi! Please try this. Open the hood and remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. to reset the system and may get your radio back to working condition. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

How do i replace radio cassette player with a cd player mazda 6 2002

Don't replace it. Go to Walmart and buy an adapter. It is usally at the check out somewhere and It cost about $5.00. It has a cassette that goes into the cassette player. Then you plug your ipod or whatever into the attached wire. Doesn't look cool but it works and it is inexpensive. The adapters with the cd player attached skip (we had one 20 years ago) so just buy the new kind of adapter for less and play all your up to date gadgets. Put your cd songs on your ipod or iphone. Our son uses one in his truck with his little ipod shuffle. No cd player needed.

I have a 2000 grand prix gtp with a radio cassette...I want a radio cd player. I went to a junk yard and found a 2000 grand prix gt with a radio cd player....I bought it (the radio cd player), can i swap...

The wires will be the same. The problem is that the radio you bought may have theftlock on it. ( it would be printed on the front). If so you don't have the code for it. there is a slight chance that it will work, probably 1 in a 100. If it doesn't and the display reads LOC not LOCK, then you can take it to a dealer and they can recode it for you. Costs about 50 dollars here. Indy

I cannot get the paper to load into the printer

I had an issue with the cassette tray paper feed. I loaded paper in the rear tray, manually used the printer properties button to make it print from the rear tray and printed from there. The next day I manually did the same thing but forced it to print from the cassette (bottom) tray. It worked fine today. It no longer thinks that there is no paper and the rollers are picking up the paper edge for proper feeding of the paper. I did not go through the roller cleaning procedure but I would do that if switching back and forth manually between trays doesn't work.

Ihave bought a car that the radio needs a code to make the radio

There is a couple of ways to check this:

Look in your car's owners manual, most of the time the new owner has it written down in there.

Sometimes it can written right on the radio when you pull it out.

If all else fails call the dealer and they should be able to look it up.

I couldn't turn on radio cassette in my car (honda) because it has anti theft lock. Radio cassette Model:39100-SV2-A000, serial number: 724372, please help.

all the codes are different if it is a factory radio and you don't have the code in the owners manual you can go to the dealer with the vehicle and proof of ownership of the car and they will pull the code up for you to unlock the radio it is a theft that's why they need proof of ownership

Radio/cassette removal

i had the same problem with mine, if your model head unit has the four small holes on it (two either side) you'll need a couple of pieces of wire about 3/16 of an inch thick and about 10" long. bend the wire into a "U" shape and insert into holes, one either side, about 3/4" to an inch in. you'll have to feel around a bit but with some patience you'll get the right spot. pull the wire away from the center of the head unit and keep the pressure on as you pull it towards you. the unit should release and then you can pull it the rest of the way by hand. it should work for all head units of this type as well, regardless of make or model
