Different websites My wireless connection is mostly ok, but when I try and look at certain websites they just will not download. This is not the settings on my computer as all works perfectly when I connect with a wire through my old modem. Why is this happening on only some websites? It's incredibly annoying!!

Try to open port 443 on your router or try change the MTU size to 1492. If it still doesn't work, contact toll-free tech support Supportrix at 1-877-787-8749 and use "supportcall" as a promo code for a free technical support call.

Hope this helps!

My Dlink router drops the wireless connectivity at least once a day. The hardwired connections seem to be fine. I have to power the router off then back on to resolve it. I've seen many different...

Static IP may help. However, my suggestion would be first to see if there is a firmware update at Dlink for your router. These can be found under support and downloads normally. The website will ask you to identify your routers model number. Once that is done look for the latest firm ware update. Second I would update your WiFi drivers on the computer. This can be done my going to the website for your computers brand (example: HP.COM). Again look for dowloads on the page. Again you should be propted for the model of your computer. You may get prompted for the OS. Once you have a list of drives, find and download the newest one for your wireless adapter. Open and run the file.

There are many changes that take place to hardware drives and firmware after a product ships. By downloading and installing the lastest "goodies", you can fix most problems.

I have a DLINK DIR-628 and - starting a few days ago, one of the websites that we visit every day is no longer available. I am certain that it is the DLINK since I have hardwired to the cable modem and...

do a flush dns by going to start > run > cmd
type ipconfig /flushdns
contact your ISP and have them try and ping/traceroute the website your trying to hit.
it could be their dns server is broken.
you can also try changing your dns to which is google's dns server and see if you can reach the website your trying to get to.

Make certain tha you have your firewall setting allowing the wireless card to connect. When you type your password in make certain that your caps lock is not turn on. Finally if your computer can only run wireless B, you have to tell your to broad wireless B and G, or do a protection mode, where older wireless device will connect.

Could you please explain what kind of error message you face when trying to connect to this website? I have tried to connect to it and it seems to be a fairly simple website with not that much of 3rd party software needed to access it;s webpage. Certainly, more information is needed. Thank you.
