Question about HP PhotoSmart 7760 InkJet Printer
The driver that was supposed to be included in 7 is not there, or it's corrupted.
Unplug the printer from the laptop and reboot. Install and run a good system cleaner (CCleaner will be good enough for you). Reboot and connect the printer - the new Hardware wizard should appear. In there select the option that instructs Windows to search for a driver online - it should be automatically found and installed.
If the wizard window doesn't appear then you must update the driver online yourself by following the official instructions found here
