I checked Whirlpool and that is not a valid model number.-19C for the freezer is very excessive. The 4C-5C for the refrigerator is about right, maybe 1C or 2C less but it isn't bad the way it is.I would be looking at the thermostat for the freezer section.Since I am not sure about your model but here is a whole bunch of pretty recent models parts diagrams. You need Adobe to read it.If you do not have it,it is a FREE,SAFE download with no junk.If this is not helpful, please find the proper model number so I can find it for you.The link.Good luck! Improve your search results
Look for your model sticker or plate
This is the best place to find your model number. You can find it following "Model No," "MOD," or "MO."
Get the whole number
Include every digit, even if some are sized or styled differently, as seen in the examples to the right. Kenmore and Craftsman model numbers may have the first three digits separated by a period.
Watch out for characters that look alike
Take a closer look at the lowercase "I" and numeral "1", letter "S" and numeral "5", and letter "O" and numeral "0"

The factory presets your temperatures to the MID / MID setting of 0º for the freezer and 37º for the refrigerator. Refrigerator adjustment range is -15º to +15º in the freezer and 33º to 47º in the refrigerator. Depending on ambient temperatures the temperatures will be + or - 6º the set point. Whenever you make a temperature adjustment, you need to wait 24 hours to notice any temperature difference. this is in fahrenheit also

Please provide the brand name and model no. of your fridge as it does not appear with the problem description. I will try to provide some solutions once you post this information
Cheers
I have seen your comments and analysis.
Unfortunately I do not have any experience in this model of the fridge. That is why I had asked for a clarification of the make and model. It is a pity the client was asked to change components without full understanding of the problem.
Maybe best to put the problem back to fixya through allocation to another expert.
Thanks for your help anyway !

Need to know why you changed the control board./ if unit was warm as in all new friges . it takes 12 to 24 hrs to get to a food tempt . so by the time you get this it may be at a proper tempt .. and if not we need to talk . mm
THANK YOU FOR THE MODEL # but whirlpool does not list that model in our data base . so i can't tell you what's going on with your model . if there is a part # i may be able to cross it to a model that we use . or basic things like comp relays and fans and thermo 's are all relative . so feed me and i try to help mm
look ing at our history and the org problem .. has the defrost terminator been replaced and if not replace it . also ck the heater . too many times the heater gets the blame and other times the main control and the terminator gets missed . and even if new it could be bad . all new part are not good . mm
Thanks. We'll have them all checked again.

whirlpool 6wmv43ns
Thanks for your reply.
It's a whirlpool 6wmv43ns. We repair for a customer. It has been checked by three other repairer before they rang us.
The original problem is freezer freezing up, pc not cold. All was told is to turned the fridge off for a couple of days then turn it back on again. Of course the problem will come back. They 've already spent $300 for nothing. So, we'd like to get things done properly for them.
We tested it.The freezer temperature was about -30c no matter how you adjust the control. Now, the new control has been put in since yesterday afternoon. We checked the data logger just now, freezer is -29c, pc is 8c. It looks like that it's been cycling. Three green lights (min, med, max) are still flashing.
Any advice for this particular model?
Thanks
