I think we can think of Two issues witth this issue.
The first can be the fault or weakness of the printing head and might need a replacement.check the prices and estimate.
Hope the printing inks, the toner are in good shape or if you have replaced recently,
secondly make sure the software is workingg correctly, if not remove, reinstall and connect to confirm there is no harware conflict.
But the issues can be related to poor black ink levels, dried printer heads.
