the printer is a laser printer. it has counters on just about everything so it tells you to replace and item when it is technically done or expired per the amount of pages predetermined by the manufacturer. Also i have changed out just about everything, toner, fuser etc. I am guessing this is an internal temperatue issue. The glossy happens on this printer by selecting thick paper and the bypass tray, it then heats the fuser more as it melts the toner into the paper, so even if it is plain paper it produces a glossy finish but I am not getting gloss nor am I getting deep blacks fron the black toner. The cmy produces a nice black but still no gloss

I think we can think of Two issues witth this issue.
The first can be the fault or weakness of the printing head and might need a replacement.check the prices and estimate.
Hope the printing inks, the toner are in good shape or if you have replaced recently,
secondly make sure the software is workingg correctly, if not remove, reinstall and connect to confirm there is no harware conflict.
But the issues can be related to poor black ink levels, dried printer heads.

Ever since we changed our fuser oil on our ricoh 2238c the paper is getting jammed and we have stopped that by rerouting the printer to the external tray but we can no longer print duplex any solutions and...

If it's only happened since you replaced the fuser oil, maybe something isn't sitting in there correctly. Try removing the oil supply unit and fusing unit and then reinstalling them.

Installed XP printer driver for Ricoh CL7000 5c

during the installation you have to select this option, by default the duplex option is not selected. Uninstall the software, restart your pc and install the software again, and select the duplexing option. I hope this helps

Ricoh CL7000 text is blurry/fuzzy

probably only when printing in colour? Black only, is ok right?
It needs to have it's line adjustment procedure done. This is a series of complicated trial and error adjustments performed in service mode that the individual colours are adjusted based on printouts generated by the printer. Can only be adjusted by a service tech with experience with this adjustment.

With linen style or glossy paper, ink smudges

Within the 'printer preferences' prior to printing, are you selecting an appropriate "special paper" setting, and try changing "print quality" from "speed" to"quality" This should help. The other possibility is that you are low on Fuser oil.

Ricoh Aficio CL7000

If you have it connected by a CAT5 network wire, then the answer is no.

if you are using a usb 1.1 port on your computer to print to it, then that port is a slow port. I would recommend getting a faster 2.0 usb adaptor and using that port. It will print a little faster.
