Try a reset. Start by unplugging for 1 minute, then plug back in & if still won't restart try the following. If none of the following work, you will need a technician.

Connecting new tv & we can't view picture onle hear sound

What must be done is to double check your inputs and confirm if there are issues in the inputs be it the RF or Video inputs. If there is no picture on any of these then the best thing to be done is to lodge your complaint as the TV is new and must get a free service replacement for any spare. Hence I request that no work be done if the matter is confirmed.
Also test your input signals.

Blinking Green Timer Light

I suspect the lamp area is VERY dirty as is the cabinet's filters and fans. This causes great stress on your tv and lamp. Take the time to clean all of them fully. Is the unit in a dirty area? or in a high temp area? DLP's dont like high temp or contaminated areas as they are NOT air sealed units.
