Question about Dell 1703FPs 17" TFT LCD Flat Panel Monitor
The screen after minimum use goes blank. After turning it off then on stays on for a few seconds then goes balnk again. Any suggestion? It is an A-open monitor Model number F75PS made in 2003
Its a possible loos contact in the VGA port that connects your monitor to the PC. Switch off everything, check for all possible loose connections, inside & outside the PC's cabinet, rectify if any found and restart.
If the problem still persists then there's something wrong with the Power Options Settings that you may access thru control panel. I recommend that under the First Tag i.e. Power Schemes select "Never" in all the dialogue boxes for turning off Monitor, Hard Drives & System Standby and under the 3rd Tag i.e. Hibernate, make sure to uncheck the box next to Enable Hibernation.
That's about it. I feel this should solve your problem.
