During the wash cycle there is a loud vibrating noise, it is only two years old, I checked to see if it was the rotating wash arms by stopping them from rotating but still makes noise. Doesnt seem to happen during draining. Please help

Eight years is a lot of dishwashing. There are hoses, belts and gears- all of them wear- and the noise is part of the result. Especially when it works hardest.
I doubt it can be repaired for less than its is worth

Bosch dishwashers do not have built in heated dryers. Be sure your water is hot enough and the rinse aid dispenser is not empty. The Bosch should heat your water to a minimum temp and if it is not, this could be your problem.
A solution to this problem would be to sell me your dishwasher. The law
firm for which I work is looking to acquire an old unrepaired Bosch SHU
33 dishwasher for some ongoing litigation. If you (or anyone else with
this model Bosch) could send me some details regarding your dishwasher,
you may be able simply to buy a whole new dishwasher. My email is

HI. here are the most common issues that will cause a noise during the wash.
* Check the spray arm for damage and obstructions * Check the inlet filter screens * Test the water inlet valve(see below for test procedure) * Check the motor and mounts- The motor may e loose or one of the mounts may have separated form the housing. this will cause mis-alignment. * Check the fan motor and blade * Check the drain for obstructions
If all checks out above, the culprit will be a cracked pump impeller. this will occur if the drive stud becomes unstable, allowing the impeller to partially separate form the motor spin drive stud. this will cause the impeller to rub or grind during the wash cycle. If this is the case, there are impeller repair kits available for purchase that will correct this issue.
if you listen to the appliance and the noise is louder on the rhs and low down this is probably the main wash motor they sometimes do whine if you can live with the noise leave it alone if not you basically have to take the whole applianmce apart for access to the motor costly repair would take a trained pro about 90 mins to replace the motor if the noise is coming from the front of the appliance more to the lhs and is intermittant ie when it first starts up and then about half way through its likely to be the drain pump relitively easy to replace and you dont have to take the appliance to bits just go at from the front good luck
your model is pretty new. just so you know your warrenty is 1 year parts and labor. 2 years on parts. it should not cost that much money.
there are two components that start before the circulation pump.(wash noise you hear)
first sounds you hear will be the drain pump. usually rattling noises if something is in it but it can make a hum noise if something is jamming the drain propeller up. which is accessible with a T20 torx driver. take the filters out and the mesh filter. and unscrew the screw in the base towards the left. pull out whatever is lodged.
the other humming sound can come from the next component that activates is the watervalve. make sure you dont have a kinked water intake line. otherwise its a bad valve. i have had to change a few of those water valves out already but not for a hum noise on your model. you have a new style water valve. when brands make new parts we get problems fast sometimes..
if you have a torx 20, and torx 15 screw driver, you an remove the screws from the top plate of the wash motor, and underthere youll see another t15 screw converingthe "chopper" assy, sounds as if a seed, of chicken bone, perhaps apiece of glass hasgottne down there
