Question about One Touch Jitterbug One-Touch Cellular Phone

2 Answers

A resident in our skilled nursing facility has a Jitterbug phone. She told me she does not know what to do when she is talking on the phone and a "call waiting" signal indicates another call is coming in. How does she place one call on hold so she can talk to the caller waiting?

While on a call, if a second call comes in the phone will make an audible beep and display the new incoming number along with the question ANSWER? at the bottom of the screen. The user simply needs to press YES to answer this new call, which will leave the first caller on hold. The user can continue to hit YES to switch between the two calls. To end either call, press NO while speaking with that caller.

Hi,
When she sees/hears the "call waiting" signal, she can press the "yes" button to switch to the caller who's waiting (this also puts the first caller on hold).
Then, if she wants to switch back, she should just press the "yes" button again.
If she wants to end the call with whomever she's *currently* talking to, just press the "no" button.

Also, you can go here to download a free guide to using the Jitterbug (in PDF format): www.jitterbug.com/phones/pdfs/HowToGuide.pdf

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any other questions,

I just purchased a jitterbug cell phone. I can not find the imei number to list to purchase an unlock code. Where is the iMEI number on a jitterbug j phone? Also where does the sim card go?

Rather than an IMEI number, Jitterbug phones have an MEID number. This can be found by removing the battery and looking at the back of the phone. It will be an alphanumeric number. For the newer Jitterbug J model, it should begin with "A00000..."

Jitterbug phones are CDMA phones, which do not use SIM cards.

I am a registered nurse working for the los

Sorry, but this type of question cannot be answered on this "fix-your-computer" web-site.

Talk to a lawyer who specializes in "immigration", but my guess is that the "usual" way is the _only_ way, and no amount of money from you can speed-up the process. So, the lawyer should give you 15 to 30 minutes for "free", but don't give the lawyer any money for "expedited" services.
