ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
Check to make sure you are getting full 220 Volt power to the dryer, if you are then:
Sounds like your problem may be with the heating coil. Remove the back/or front just under the door of the machine and try to locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside/outside the air duct you will find the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistors. Once you have located the heating coil, remove the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it is faulty.
If the heating coil is ok, then:
You can check the thermostat/thermistor by removing the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape or with an ohm meter. (Should have/show continuity)
If the coil heats up then replace the thermostat/thermistor.
DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST.
This could cause a FIRE, as you have removed the safety of overheat from the machine.

Lots of heat but don't dry

The usual reason for this is poor venting. If the dryer cannot exhaust the moisture-laden air that is created during the drying cycle, the moisture simply condenses back into the clothes. Ensure that the dryer is properly vented to the outside and that the lint filter(s) are clear of debris.

Dishwasher not completely drying

The dishwasher does not dry the dishes, it is the residual heat remaining from the washing water that dries the dishes.
Once the washing cycle is over, opening the door and pulling the top drawer out slightly to keep the door ajar will create a small opening which allows the steam to escape and the dishes then dry a lot quicker.

E15 error code on hoover tumble dryer

Controls
  • The control unit on the tumble dryer will vary among different makes and models. The main purpose of the controls is to allow the user to select the drying cycle. You can choose the time and temperature setting on most units, while others allow custom settings such as moisture sensors and end-of-cycle alert signals. The controls may include a dial or a touch panel and LED screen display. Some tumble dryers allow you to independently select the appropriate time for the load you are drying and separate programs for temperature.
Motor
  • The motor inside the tumble dryer spins the basket to allow the clothes to tumble while being dried. The tumbling action allows the air to pass through the clothing to dry them faster. Heating laundry that is stagnant will likely dry the clothing on the outside while leaving damp clothing inside the pile. The constant motion, along with the heat and steam created by heating the clothing, reduces wrinkles. The motor also powers the fan that delivers the heated air to the basket of laundry. The heater can be an electrical element or gas powered.

Drying problems

Hi,
Check the front control panel for a AIR DRY / HEAT DRY switch. Perhaps the switch is in the AIR DRY position. If so and you really want to HEAT DRY your dishes, set the switch for HEAT DRY.
Second, it is not a bad thing to let your dishes AIR DRY. It saves money! Just open the Dish Washer door after the last rinse cycle has finished and let the dishes AIR DRY manually. In a hour or so they can usually be put away.
You can also check for the heating element.Your dishwasher has an electrical heating element that helps to dry the dishes. If the element is burned out, the dishes won't dry properly, and you need to replace the element. Many high-priced dishwashers have a small fan that blows air or heated air into the dishwasher to speed up the drying process. If the fan is defective, you need to replace it.
Thank you!

My Frigidaire stacked unit FEX831CS0 is operating ok except it doe not get as hot as it used to and will not dry the clothes. I did replace the high limit t/stat as I found it would not reset after...

The question is .. is it drying? .. if it is drying then previous to the high limit tripping you had an air flow problem creating the abnormal heat in the dryer which you took as normal .. suprise part is that if it is drying then the heat you feel now is the correct heat for that unit.

Dear sir, My refrigerator does not operate. The light is still on,what do I should now to save my foods, and fix it? Please help me. Thank you

Go buy some stro foam ice chests and buy some dry ice, safe way has it or a ice plant in your area will have it put a plate of ice on the botton then cover it with alawer of food then another plate of ice and then food, be sure the dry ice is the the last layer on top. Dry ice stays longer and when the regular ice melts it creates water that will draw the heat out of thefood yo are trying to save, the dry ice will just evaporate and this process creates an updraf of cool to rise so will keep food much longer. Once you have your food safe then post on this link to recieve help with the fridge.

Maytag Neptune gas dryer sense dry time at 99, little or no heat

If this is a gas dryer, I'd suggest an inspection by the gas company or qualified technician. If the jets aren't firing correctly, you are wasting gas and possibly creating a hazard.

Dryer Problem

EC4 The temperature of air vent
Within 30 minutes of dry cycle there is 5 minutes in which the temperature is not increasing.

You need to call for repairs. Probably the heating element is faulty.

You can create a custom program without a dry cycle and hang dry your clothing.

Roper clothes dryer not drying clothes

Please take a look at the following link. In particular, the first major paragraph where it discusses proper ventilation:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r630242-dryer_runs_but_not_heat

I know the link is for a dryer that no longer heats, but if a dryer is left in a condition where it is starved for air, the heating circuits will actually over-heat and eventually fail. You need to ask yourself when was the last time you inspected or cleaned the dryer exhaust ventilation. If you can't remember, or if you've never cleaned anything before, it may be a good time to do so. Most dryer heat related problems are caused by poor ventilation and lack of cleaning. I recommend that you clean the dryer ducting twice a year. That's once in the spring, and once again in the fall. It is also important to note that the SHORTER and STRAIGHTER the exhaust vent line is, the BETTER. The more bends and kinks that you put in the dryer exhaust, the more resistance you create for the dyrer blower, and the more potential choke points you create where lint can accumulate and clog. Not to mention, this can also cause a fire hazard and/or a habitat for rodents.

Follow the recommended advice and try drying a load of clothes with the vent hose removed, first. If your clothes dry faster like they should, you may have an exhaust clog somewhere. If your clothes still aren't drying correctly, inspect the interior blower fan housing for obstructions. This is all explained in the link provided.

If you attempt these preliminary measures and still have problems, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Wet dishes; steam does not escape

Hi, Most dishwashers do not have steam vents! there are several reasons for poor drying in a d/washer! The first one is to see that you have rinse aid in the machine as this aids drying! Next if you have rinse aid then is it being put into the machine when it needs it? Also you must bear in mind that the dishwasher need to heat on the last rinse to create the heat to dry the items which use the steam to dry them. Check the rinse aid first and see how you get on....
