Try runing the battery completely down and then turn it off and let it set for a few hours .. then plug it in and let it charge without using it till its 100%. if that doesnt work they are fairly simple to rebuild you can find the battery on ebay...

My sanyo pm 8200 wont hold charge!

Hello,

Since the battery and charger are new and yet it does not still hold charge.

Have put the battery in another similar phone and try to charge with your charger to see if it will hold charge? if you have.

It means the charging port of your phone is bad and you will need to replace it.

The charger is not charging the battery in anyway because the charging port is bad, so just change your charging port, your phone will now hold charge.

Take care.
