You did not specify what kind of problems but here are some things worth trying. Scan for viruses, spyware, malware etc.
Make sure your drivers are in place or reinstall by going to www.toshiba.com. If you still have no sound, connect headphones or external speakers to the computer and if you get sound then it's your speakers. You can order those online and go to Youtube to see how to remove and replace them. Best of Luck!
