Question about Raymarine St 4000 Wheel Drive E12093
It could either be the connecting cable or the driver for this device. Uninstall and reinstall the driver with a reboot inbetween.

A defective data cable can cause the problem, however before replacing the data cable, cut power and remove battery if present to reset the whole system (the concept is draining per completely).
If that does not help, you can test the data cable using a multimeter on Ohms on the correspondent pin contacts in the two connectors on the cable. Id the connection is good there must be continuity (zero or low Ohms) between correspondent pins.

No data would have to indicate a problem with the GPS input, I would think, although I've never had one of these. Check the cord, it could be defective. Couldn't find much technical info on these units on the net, but some parts aren't available anymore, so that's bad news. Anyway, hope this helps.
