Question about Hitachi 50GX30B 50". Rear Projection Television
I bought the tv used. When I first brought it home color was great. After a few weeks I have a blue and yellow shadows and I am unable to correct it. Can the color tubes be going out? I have tried to correct the color but nothing helps...Please help :)
Google "HItachi Convergence Circuit" and you will see that it is a very common problem. Looks like TV repair guys get $400 to fix it. The parts will set you back $15-$50 but there is some complicated soldering to do.
I am going to repair my own...but I have a lot of experience in soldering
