The battery is fine but the console doesnt turn on

If you're superstitious, it's your bad mojo. It could be a bad battery. But if your friend was using it just fine, then it stops when you touch it? I'd say call an exorcist!

Either the game is shorted or the contact pins inside the game slot are bent.

the most likely cause is that your battery is fried and cannot hold a charge. i know that the psp slims are a fairly old model and this is a highly likely possibility so i recomend purchasing a new battery from the sony store or from Sony's website

mate that could be the work of a failing battery !! if you buy a new battery and put it it mmmigghhhhttt work for you again if it doesnt than its no use..

press the power button on the console to turn it on. if it doesnt work then u need to get it repaired or i fix it for free!

The battery will no longer hold a charge. It needs to be replaced.

i have the same issue, i find that with older battery packs and newer controllers that i can't turn the console on using the contoller, and tbh it really annoys me, nobody ever said that battery packs and controllers of different generations would have slight compatibility issues with consoles, my console is one of the newer generation also

probably bricked you need pandoras battery
