The Faucet handle and it's base are loose and need tightening.

Try removing that Allen screw completely. There may be a second screw behind it, deeper in, that you can tighten. I see that from time to time - the inner screw does all the tightening, the outer screw just locks the inner one in place.

HELLO THE FAUCET DRIPS AT THE HANDLE AND THE HOT AND COLD SEEM REVERSED

On this valve the hot/cold in reverse is easy enough to fix, but the faucet dripping at the handle is another issue. To reverse the hot and cold, turn off the house water, relieve the pressure by opening a nearby faucet. Once the water stops, remove the handle and faucet cover so you can see the valve. then the four screws that are visible need to be removed. Mark one of the screw holes with a crayon or pencil and then remove by pulling straight out. Once out, inspect the main o-ring right behind where it sits against the valve, (if this is damaged, it might be why the handle area is leaking) then turn the whole assembly clockwise 180 degrees then insert straight back in and insert screws. Tighten screws until snug. Turn water back on before installing cover and handle to check for leaks. If no leaks are found, install cover and handle and check for proper position of hot and cold. If there are leaks, tighten screws in clockwise rotation tightening each screw a quarter turn, then moving to the next one until dripping stops. If dripping is from center of stem, where the handle attaches, you will need to contact Price Pfister to request a replacement. They are very good to work with. Good luck.

Loose handle

bottom of handle is a screw hidden behind a square little sticker thing. use a small screwdriver to pry it out. take out screw and then push handle upwards and it will come off a clip which you can now tighten. then snap top secti0on of handle back onto clip and then lower screw secures it.

How do I take a loose handle off of an American Standard Hampton faucet?

The following link is the installation instructions for your faucet.

Basically, what you need to do is gently pry the cap (with the hot/cold indicator) off the top of the handle. This will expose a screw-head, that you tighten to fix the looseness or loosen to remove the handle. If it's the other part of the handle that's loose (the bit that sticks out sideways rather than the whole handle). I've attached a diagram of how that is attached.

How do I remove the handle of an upright Kenmore freezer. It is loose and I want to tighten it, but cant get it off. Thanks

The screws usually go from inside out and are under the inside panel. Unless you have the universal handles that switch sides and there is a screw on to and one on bottom.

Hi, Look at the top and bottom end of the handle to see if there is a cap that can be removed. You should find a screw behind the cap to tighten. \Please let me know if I can assist you further.
