Hi most likely your backlight has failed, that and/or the inverter that drives it. This must be replaced to effect a repair.
You will need to contact Olympus and ask where you can get you camera repaired. Remember to always ask for a "Quote" before proceeding with any repairs.
I have included a user manual for your convenience, inside there is your contact data as well.

The LCD brightness control in the menu can be adjusted too low, or it could be that the backlight in the LCD screen assembly is failing. Try adjusting your settings, and if that doesn't work, try resetting the ribbon connector to the backlight (it should be the smaller ribbon cable). If that doesn't work, the whole LCD screen will have to be replaced. You can find them on Ebay sometimes fairly cheap, if you do it yourself. There are videos on YouTube that show the general process, but it's not hard. Get an estimate first if you have a repair shop fix it, since it can cost more than a new camera.
Good luck, thanks for using FixYa, and hope this helps.

Try using "fully charged" NiMH batteries. If you still experiencing "low battery", you may have a "leak". Your next option is the service center.
