The problem may be just a dirty condesor. It is located under the frig. clean all the dirt and dust out and you should be fine. I hope this helps. Please leave feedback.

My ac is not geting cold

No problem. just put it in bed with my wife!

With all joking aside, there are MANY things that can cause your A/C to not get cold. The most common is that your system could be low or out of freon. If this is the case, the system needs to be checked for leaks and repaired so it will not just do it again.

Other possible causes are broken blend-air door in the A/C housing under the dash, a defective blend door actuator, malfunctioning condensor fan or fan circuits, a bad compressor or compressor clutch, a stuck-open expansion valve, etc.

The place to start would be to hook up a set of gauges and check the high and low side pressures in your system. If there is plenty of freon, then you must look elsewhere for the cause. You must systematically eliminate one possibility at a time until the problem is located.

My 25.2 refrigerator and freezer not geting cold i clean the coil and still not getting cold its been this way about a week or so.

Insufficient cooling is a fridge repair job that you can do without the help of a professional. Often the fridge has a frost-free failure, or the compressor is faulty but there are many other reasons for a fridge not cooling properly.
Step 1 - Find the Problem

Your first job is to locate the source of the problem. Consider each of the following:

* Gaskets - Make sure the gaskets/seals are not torn and are sealing properly.
* Evaporator fan - Make sure it is working. If it is now working you may have a problem with the fan motor. Check for power to the motor and also examine the fan switches around the door (not all fridges have these switches).
* Air damper - Sometimes the air damper will not open up to allow the cold air from the freezer part to blow into the fridge section.
* Condenser coils - Check to see that the condenser coils don't have a dust build-up and that the condenser motor is working.
* Compressor - Make sure your compressor is working with on and off clicking noises.

Hope that help in solving the problem...

Just brougt had it staningup slinted a litte bit geting off truck wife cleaned it up plug it in comppessor kicking in not geting cold in side

After transportation or tilting one should not plug till after aprox 2 days to allow compressor oil to setle down. Switch off now and let setle for 3 days if does dot work you may have to change the copressor and vacuate the system.

Quit geting cold, started Sunday, things are completely defrosting now. I tried to unplug and restart. The fan seems to come on but the compressor does not. Can't find the defroster timer to see if maybe...

Sounde like the overload is bad on the compressor . Pull the refrig out and remove the lower panel . Attached to the side of the compressor , is the overload/relay . If the compressor is not running , replace this part . Only 2 or 3 wires connected to it . Take your model number with you when getting the part , as you didn't list it here , or a part number could have been given .

The fan on my fridge is working, but its not cold. Everything thawed out. Do you know wht this could be?

There are a couple things to check and do.. 1st check if your compressor is hot.. (pull fridge out, back bottom area remove to get to comp) if comp is hot possible refrigerate leak.. the other is capacitor (or hard start kit is needed)... unplug fridge and let sit for a few hours (like 5hrs).. plug back in.. you should feel cloud in the freezer area in 15min.. if not then, your possible problems I mention 1st.. hope that well do.. good luck.. mike

My ge side by side is not geting cold on either side

Hi ladyjazzy,
If the refrigerator just stopped cooling all at once then you may have either a condenser fan motor or a compressor problem. If it gradually stopped cooling then you may have a defrost problem and need either a defrost heater, defrost thermostat, or a defrost timer. give us a little more infor and Im sure I can figure it out for you. Lots of luck to ya, and I hope I helped.
