Half the screen isa dark, left side

Most likely you have a faulty LCD panel tabs. This can be verified sometimes by turning set on and tapping or squeezing the top left side of the TV. The only true fix is to replace the panel. I've been told that Samsung may offer to replace the panel or give you a discount on a new TV. Samsung is know to have LCD panels with premature tab failure. So it may be worth while to contact Samsung and see what they can do for you. There are videos on youtube that show case the problems and show you how to patch the problem. just type in "LCD panel tab" in the youtube search box.

Sound from my tv card, skydude doesnt work on my hp laptop, vista home premium

You haven't mention about the connections you have with the SKYDUDE TV box. TV boxes usually have AV (audio and video) connections i.e., two seperate connections for audio and video signals. If you are using a set top box to connect to the tv box you can connect the "video out" of the set top box to the "video in" of the tv box using a cable. and "audio out" of the set top box to the "audio in" of the TV box using another cable. Some TV boxes don't have the "audio in" option. In that case you have to connect the "audio out" from the set top box directly to the "audio in" of the computer. This pin you can find just near the "speaker" and "mic" connections.

If you have an S-Video pin in your TV box, you can use an adopter wire to connect two "audio in" and one "video in" connections to the same pin. And you have to select S-Video option in the software installed.

If you have "RF in" option in your TV box, you can use use AV to RF converter to connect your set top box to the TV box.

Thank you,

Video 4 not working properly

Hello,

9 out of 10 times, the problem is the device that is hooked up to the TV, and not the TV itself. This is especially true in the case of cable boxes, which have a long history of failures.

Temporarily, you can probably hook up the composite (yellow red and white) cables to get a picture and sound on a different input.

You can try to hook up a DVD player on the inputs (component, I'm guessing) and it will probably work. Then you get to call the cable company!

Hope this helps...

Hi my tv turns on but just shows a blue screen and the sensor light flashes red there is no picture or sound ive tried switching it of from the mains plug sky tv in and another dvd player but no good any...

try the av buttons on your remote, see if it switches to ur external box.

if that doesnt work, try a s-video (and rca audio cables) to scart adaptor (with those mensioned cables)
from the box, if that works, could be something to do with the scart?
or could be a av issue,

The game doesnt show up

Hi,
try booting the console with the game already in the drive, or try a different game.
If none of this works, try a laser head cleaning CD Disk.
