Question about Samsung Cell Phones

2 Answers

I have a samsung highlight. Over the last two weeks the audio has began to be garble, If someone says " I will come pick you up and we will go to the store" It sounds like they are saying "I will pick up the store" no static but it sounds like it is losing the signal even though I have 5 or 6 bars. I have t-mobile. I have spent several hours with them and they said to use my insurance and get another, so I paid the $40 deduct and got another highlight, this one is worst than old phone. T mobile said ask for another hightlight from insurance or get their new LG, I like samsung and don't want to loose my high light can you please help me. people say that they can hear me fine.

Hello there,

If you have change your phone and your call recipient can hear you very well, then this is a problem with the phone reception signal on their side. They are not being able to get a clear signal while speaking up with you since you are the one receiving poor audio quality from the one you are speaking with. The thing to consider here is that you sound good to them so your audio signal is able to travel smoothly towards them. Has this happened to almost all that you are speaking with? If not, then try and compare them. Also, try to see if same garbled sound is being heard if you put them in Loudspeaker mode.

This is not a phone problem since you have already changed your phone to a brand new one.

Please let me know how this works.

Hello,

I think the problem with your phone is the earpiece, the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything clearly while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece. Use the handsfree of your phone, see if their is difference.

Take care.

    Hello,

Try use another line on the phone, see if you experience the same problem, if not, the line you are using on the phone is the problem.

We have a Samsung 61 inch DLP tv. That started buzzing a few weeks ago when it was turned on. At first it only lasted a few seconds. Kinda sounds like a bad barring, Then this last week it began to last...

Highly likely that the sound was coming from the bearing in the color wheel assembly. When the bearing fails, the color wheel cannot spin at the correct speed, and because the speed is measured by the control board, the TV will shut down.

If you can handle a screwdriver - entire color wheel assembly can be replaced for about $100 and 30 minutes of your time.

55 inch toshiba led tv audio sometimes gets garbled. must turn set off and on to correct

I have a Samsung 55 inch plasma that has experienced intermitent garbled audio, sometimes very frequent (a couple of minutes between episodes) and long in duration (several minutes). Switching to another channel and back would correct the audio.

I ran the auto program channel function a couple of times and it eliminated the gabled audio problem, except for infrequent (once every hour or two) and very short (a second or two in duration) episodes of gabled audio.

I found a thread on a CNET forum on this subject and it seems that the garbled audio problem affects a number of Samsung flat panel models.

Audio problem

Steps:
1. Make sure battery is charged. Go to Step #2.
2. Press reset button and try it again. If still bad, go to step #3.
3. Try using headphones.

By using the headphones, you are bypassing the internal speakers, which might have failed. If the sound is still missing, the mostly like problem is a defective audio output stage on the motherboard. Since this unit uses surface mount technology it will have to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.
