Your Poulan Pro mower is made by American Yard Products and the parts will interchange directly with Craftsman 22" mowers. You should be able to find a replacement at your local Sears store. All of these part #s are also 22" AYP blades:
AYP #'s
Rotary #15-6236
Oregon #
The different #'s should all fit. Some of them are bagging style blades (high lift) while others are designed to mulch.

How to install cable

Well I am not sure if your lawnmower is similar to mine - when I want to engage the blades, I push the lever up and lock it in place.

I just replaced my cable - took about an hour. On the other side of ther lever there is a cable attached that goes to the cam to engage the blades.

You will need to look and see how it is secured at the lever and at the cam down where the blades are.

Mine was pretty easy to remove - there was a tab that locked the cable to the lever frame where the lever is located. At the cam to engage the blades there was a pin that needed to be pulled out to release the cable.

That was pretty much it. Look on the internet for a parts diagram of your particular lawnmower. You will need to include the mfg, and model -

The parts diagram should show you where it's connected. Make sure you have the new part in hand before you start to work on it.

If you don't, you may have to wait a day or two to get the part from a local supplier - if you're lucky they may have the part in stock.

Another reason to get the parts diagram is the part numbers are listed for all parts - when you call for a part use the part number for the item you want to purchae.

Hope this info helps.

Serial # 021309M 018532\r\nP0550N22SM 961120080 80 The outter housing that holds the engine down is broken, need 22 inch blade and a shaft. Where can I get these to purchase? Also need the housing.

If your looking to purchase new parts , you my find this to be a very expensive purchase. You can go to your local dealer and get an idea of price for the parts you need or you may go another route. My suggestion would be to go to your local automotive junk yard and look around there. People throw away everything. You will probably find exactly what you want and for just a few dollars. Give it a shot , you have nothing to lose. GOOD LUCK.

Take the old plug out and it will have numbers on the side. Simply match them up and you can cross-reference them on the package of any other plug that looks like it fits. But I'm guessing that mower has a Brigg's and Stratton engine and the plug will probably be a RJ19LM (Champion Number), which is what 99 percent of the engines I work on take (gapped at .030). Also, most mowers today run on straight 30 weight oil (not a multi-viscosity such as 10W30, Just 30 weight). Hope this helps you and good luck. P.S. Your owner's manual will tell you what you need to know and the engine sticker will tell you the oil.

Put Lawnmower on its side and changed blade. Put

Most likely you have flooded the cylinder with oil. You can try this and see if it helps you out.

Remove the spark plug, clean and dry it with carb cleaner, let dry, spray carb cleaner in the spark plug hole and thoroughly flush it out. Let is sit this way for about 20 minutes. Reinstall your spark plug and see if it will start up for you. If it does you are done if not go to an auto parts store and buy some starter fluid. Spray the fluid with just short burst into the air cleaner. Try to start it. Repeat and it should stay running in a couple of tries.

I hit a rock with my push lawnmower. The

Oooh boy, I know you bent the shaft, but why it is blowing oil out the carb, I don't know if I would even bother with the blade, you could go buy the same mower, then you would have some parts. Unless you just bumped it hard enough to throw oil around in there, it might settle down, but it is a long shot. I hit a stump once and bent the crank, it was lights out for that mower. Hope this helps.

The dash number of your serial number is the type.
Type 2 follows:
Item 40 pn 530054886 $23.18
Item numbers are different for Type 1 but pn's and price are ther same.
An Internet search returned many hits, some a few $ more a couple a little less. Do not forget shipping and handling feees. GL
