Question about Computers & Internet
Hi, well it is pretty straight forwards. The MB, comes, naked as it were. One removes all the screws that secure the MB to the case, usually about 6 - 7. Now note down where all the Wires go for the Switches, LED's USB connections in fact ALL external connections to the MB. etc. Note where the HDD, and DVD connections go on the MB. too.
Then Install the RAM and any plug in cards, then plug in the big Power Supply connector. Thats about all it takes.
Usually one gets a manual with the MB. This will also show all connections to everything. As they may indeed be different if the MB isn't exactly the same.
IF one used an exactly the same MB, and the existing HDD, then the system would most likely just boot up and work. If however the MB wasn't the same, then one would have to boot up in safe mode, and remove all existing drivers, and reboot, this will then allow the OS, to detect and reinstall the new drivers required for the MB, you should also have been supplied with a CD/DVD, with ALL the MB "Drivers". These too must be installed, to make the MB work correctly.
please find a pictorial tutorial about how to do what I have explained.
