Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
All the printers have some place called "wasted box" At this area (at the laser models it's a small box, at the inkjets it's something like "foam" near the place that the cartridges rest) they collect the remains of the ink (or toner) during the print procedure. So, I suppose, the foam you mentioned is the waste box for your printer. Another one possibility, in case of using rebuild cartridges, is that the rebuilder didn't reset the internal (at the cartridge) chip that counts the pages printed. I suggest you check with the rebuilder (or try a brand new one, or another rebuider). In case you need further details for the specific printer this is the official helpdask link for your printer.
In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

The pump is weak and does not hold back the ink as it should be doing. It will be best to find another printer for the cost of repairing it outweighs the cost of a new one
