O and I are the international symbols for off and on. The O is the off position and the I is the on position. Put the switch in the I position. Make sure there is properly mixed fuel in the tank. Your Mantis probably uses fuel mixed 1 part 2cycle oil to 50 parts gasoline. Push the primer bulb a few times until you see fuel in the bulb. Position the choke lever to full choke, open the throttle completely and use short, quick pulls on the rope until the engine sputters. Reposition to choke to half and pull the rope again. The engine should start at this time. Let the engine run for a few seconds, then push the choke lever to off. Go to work in the garden.
Good luck!

I need to replace a shower cord but it has no instructions please advise on what wire goes where

Three wires in 3 out each set of 3 in a cable
Earth green/yellow attach to brass earth terminal on switch back - both cables and make sure that the copper wires have a plastic sheathing on them
input cable -
red or brown to live labeled 'L' on the terminal of the switch labeled 'IN' or 'MAINS'
black to the terminal labeled 'N' on the same part of the switch

Output to shower-
as above but to the part of the switch labeled 'LOAD'
The neon will be prewired to the LOAD side - take care not to disturb

To help to remember which cable is which, place a piece of tape on one cable to identify either MAINS or LOAD. Or red marker pen to the MAINS cable

Can I install a motion sensor switch on a 3-way switch?

In many cases, yes. When shopping for an occupancy sensing switch, read the label to make sure that it's compatible with 3-way switching, and then follow the installation instructions.

Switch off the power. Hold down the Feed button while you switch the power back on.

After the Configuration label prints, turn the power off and on again, then try printing again.

Empty light

The label sensor on the 3400 is in the hinged area where a metal plate swings down to make loading labels easier. The sensor can't be adjusted left or right like some other Intermec models, so it's critical that the labels be snug to the left side (as viewed from the front) so the sensor can read the leading and trailing edges of the labels.

There is a small "Guide" in the slot of the plate that should keep the labels in position. Use the thumbscrew beneath the plate to adjust the guide so that the labels are snug but you can still pull the labels without much effort (with the head open). This almost always fixes the problem. If the guide and tumbscrew are missing, look in the bottom of the printer for the pieces, including the washer.

Close the head, hit the Feed button a few times, and labels should feed consistantly (the feeds should probably move the label to the start of the printhead and then to the tear bar).
If the labels still don't feed, be aware that the same light is used to show that the ribbon is out. If you use direct thermal printing (without a ribbon), check the bottom switch on the back is set toward "DT" and then turn the printer off and on to read the switches.
