It will probably need output transistors and a few resistors

Nissan 2005 air conditoner will not turn off

fuses are ther to protect the wiring incase of over current. They blow to protect the wiring so changing the fuses will not solve anything. For the a/c compressor to continue working there has to be current getting to the pulley clutch Look for a faulty relay that controls this area.

My HTR 5460 won't stay on

try pressing power while holding the 'fm/am' and 'input mode' buttons. This will tell you what part of the circuit is making it shut down. It should show something like I PROTECT, PS PROTECT, etc.

Music just stop working. Now it flashes 'protect' and won't play. Wat do I do?

It sounds like there is a problem with your wiring. Usually the protect on an amplifier comes on when your amp is overheating. The overheating is usually caused by the wrong impedence, or not engouh air circulation. If you have a digital multimete (DMM), you can disconnect the speakers from the amp and measure the impedence. If you do not have one, you should take it to a local car stereo shop. They would be able to test this area for you. If they tell you that you have to buy another piece of equipment, please post the make and model for your amp(s) and subwoofer(s). This also goes for replacement factory speakers.

My audio system says protect on display

Hi Jean,

Without a brand and a model, best that I can provide are generic possibilities:
1. unplug the unit from the mains for a couple of hours. This is supposedly to reset most systems; and/or
2. check the speaker wires and make sure none of any bare wires are touching each other.

If your concern has not been corrected after completion of the above procedures, pls post back brand and model.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back as requested, how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
