Sounds like you have to set the monitor resolution using your computer. right click desktop... graphics options. or Properties. look for Resolution slider. Move it around. press apply. see what happens. if it now fits but is fuzzy. change the refresh rate eg. 60 Hz or 75 Hz. On the monitor itself there is typically a button that allows you to move the image to fit the screen, quite often these settings are inadvertently played with by children ect. look for buttons/ menu's on your monitor itself. play with the settings .
