Re: Broken battery cover DX6340
I have this camera once you remove the case screws than when ever you seporate the case the door will come out. I repair these all the time and if I have on in stock it is only 25.00 to get it fixed. I beleave you can order one directly from kodak also.

Make sure the battery is charged. If it is an older camera, then your battery probably can't hold much of a charge anymore. If this came out of nowhere, then your camera is probably broken. If it's still under warranty, call the manufacturer and they'll tell you where to send it in. If not, its repair cost probably outweighs the camera's value. I would seek out a replacement.
you can have it repaired but the costs of a good box (not too small and not to big, special foam, are probably high and the repair cost are the worst of the technician fee (material is porbably within a few dollar ) but your gues is as good as mine , go to a olympus dealer , ask him what he /she thinks the cost of repair would be and weigh that against the price of a new one.
It's the fuse in the battery circuit - happens frequently but Kodak won't acknowledge a problem with the model. Repair costs aren't worth it vs replacement - and Kodak won't repair if not under warranty
