SOURCE: Problems with my Sony Cybershot W210

1) Make sure that you're not using more than 4 GB memory stick pro duo with the camera. Then try to remove the memory stick and capture 2 images in the internal memory and turn OFF and turn ON the Camera and check. If the error message comes, its the issue with the Camera itself and requires service after resetting. to reset the Camera, select Initialize under Main Settings 1 menu under Settings. if the issue persists, the camera may require service
If its working fine, transfer all the images to the Computer and format the memory stick. Formatting will delete all the contents. If the issue persists, memory stick should be replaced.

SOURCE: My Sony Cybershot Dsc-w370 doesn't work with Windows Movie Maker

Use a card reader to upload the videos to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can try to get movie maker to open them.

I cant upload pictures to my pc from my cybershot dsc-w370

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery and Picasa.

I bought a new Sony Cyber-Shot camera to my daughter, instaled the product on my computer, however failed to figure out how to connect the camera to my computer. The Camera came with only 1 cord that has...

That cord is to connect the camera to a TV so you can use the big screen instead of the little one on the camera.

I keep getting the message: Turn the power off and on again. Just bought the Cybershot DSC-W370 tonight and it worked fine, until the battery was charged. ???

Why don't remove the battery? First, switch off the camera then remove the battery. Wait for 5-10 mins then put the battery back on and charge it straightaway. remember to leave the camera off while charging. let it charge full then unplug and switch the camera back on. let me know if this works for you.

My sony cybershot T2 is no longer recognized by any computer I connect it to via USB. But when I connect my sister's camera (also a T2), it works fine? please help

You may have a bad USB in your camera connector in your camera. Any repair shop should be able to repair for less than $50.00. Also check that you do not have a bad cable. You may also want to try on a different computer than yours. if it works you may have a driver or USB conflict with your computer.
