How do I use the double needle

first you take out the single needle, then you insert the double needle the same way you would the regular needle

the flat side goes toward the back of the machine inserted all the way up into the needle holder
then you take the 2 spools of thread & put them on the spool holders

then you thread the machine with the first spool just like when your going to sew normally with one needle & then you thread the first needle
& then the second spool is threaded the same path as the other spool,, ever guide & then you thread the second needle

then you make sure you have thread tails for top & bobbin thread of 3 to 6 inches long, pulled toward the back of the machine before you start to sew

happy sewing

How do you swing the second bobbin holder up and place "one bobbin on each of the bobbin holders"? I have a 7570

I presume you want to twin needle sew?

So you need to have two thread spools on pins to do this. Most machines will have two spool pins at the back for this purpose, sometimes they are retractable pins so you would just need to pull the second one up.

or sometimes a seperate pin in the accessory box that you can mount onto a hole somewhere for this purpose.

Rather than buy two reels of thread in the same colour to twin needle sew, you could also wind a second bobbin off (only half full should be plenty), then pop this onto one of the pins and the main thread spool on the other.

Hope this helps you out, I couldn't actually find an image of the back area of this model but most quality machines have two pins as standard.

My dad has just bought a second hand elna lotus sp sewing mashine and does not know how to get the spool out can you please help him he said it has type 35 on it

Look in the back. By the lever you will see a white knob on a spring. Pull this down, put it in the bobbin; lift out. This is the bobbin take out method. Hope this helps. Keep this machine. It is great and only increases in value.

How do I thread the machine

Raise the presser foot.

Place the thread spool on the spool pin so the thread feeds from the back of the spool.

Place spool cap against the thread spool.

Take the thread across to the first guide, then down the first slot, back up the next to catch the uptake lever, then down to the needle.

At the top of the needle there should be a metal "hook" that helps hold the thread close to the needle.

I found a download for the manual at this site for $5.00 -

How do I replace a broken spool pin on the Brother Innovis 30 sewing machine?

If the spool pops in, you may be able to find a replacement where sewing machine parts are sold.

If it was a molded to a platform, a thread stand may be a less expensive method to use. You can find a single cone thread stand with sewing notions.

My prdect is fashionaire 2380.when i'm sew somthing it's break the thread, and it's stack

Check the thread spool to see if there is a nick where the thread is catching. If there is, you can smooth away the nick with an emery board, or just flip the spool so the thread is feeding from the bottom of the spool.

Sometimes the thread feeds too quickly from the spool and puddles around the spool pin. A thread net (can be purchased online or at a sewing machine dealer) can eliminate this.

Check the threading to be sure it is correct - always thread to top thread with the presser foot up.

Check the bobbin to be sure the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the correct direction and through the correct guides.

Refer to your manual for threading and bobbin position.
