Ok, what this all means is that the WEP/WAP key you are using for security, isn't compatible with what you are attempting to use it with, in your Router.
Either UN-secure the network, or if possible you must use a "Key" that is compatible. You must change the encryption method, to a simper one.
Get it all working, UN-secured, and then try setting the "Keys".
I have included a WiKi that explains it all.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I had the same problem. You are right, Samsung tech support is awful. When I pulled the system out of my cabinet I was able to connect wirelessly. But in the cabinet it wouldn't work. I think my cabinet was blocking the wireless signal. Fortunately, I have a wireless ethernet bridge with a gigabit switch on my cabinet that hooks up my Panasonic plasma. I ran an ethernet cable to the BD-C6500 and the problem was resolved. If there is any way, try running an ethernet cable to your player. I know this defeats the purpose of wireless, but it worked for me.

Hello sir, let me give you some tips, you can dismantle it and get the HDD unit, buy a cheap external SATA usb hdd enclosure with USB 2.0 . Well all of them are 2.0 compatible (the unit without the HDD) and put it there. you can always keep the old one for posterity. hope this helps.
