Using Nikon D70s and 2G SD card. I took pictured and they displayed in viewer. When I removed the card and connected to the computer via a card reader one days set of imaged had a DCCOxxxx.j@p format. I coulf correct the extension and then displayed on the computer but the image number was lost.
Any idea how this coulf happen please.
I have now reformatted the card in the camera and it seems to be OK

i can see the picture in the camera when transferred to computer it shows as jpeg and when i try to open it it says error .. and my images unable to open this is frustrating i haven't found a way to fix this problem ...
