Question about Frigidaire FRT17G4B Top Freezer Refrigerator
Unplug the refrigerator. Then take out the t-stat. There will be two wires on the back of the t-stat. Tape them together. Plug the frig back in. Now place your hand on the compressor to feel if its running. If it is you have a bad t-stat. If not look in the cover on the side of the compressor that has the wires going into it. You will be looking for burned wires or a burned relay coil. If everything there is okay look at the cylinder with the two wires. That's the capacitor. Does it look okay? If all of that seems fine then you may have a bad compressor. I hope this was helpful. Please leave feedback.
