Question about PNY Optima Pro 2GB Secure Digital Memory Card
The tiny amount that the lock-unlock slider has to move to make it "lock" is very very small. I mean you could not tell if you were looking at it small, but if you try and slide it up you will feel it slide up a tiny tiny bit. The problem is that when you slide the card in the card reader the friction of the slide in makes the tab go down just a little bit. Then you have your lock problem again. I usually make sure the card is in the unlocked position and place a very small amount of super glue behind the tab (if you clump the glue at all it will never fit back in the card reader) and let it dry for several hours (to let the glue cure to maximum strength). Make sure that the card is not in, on or touching anything where the glue is while the glue drys or it will never come out or off of it. If that does not get it to work try to reformat the card in a PC and try it again (this will blank any data on the card be warned).
