If this system is connected to a Panasonic Voice mail, dial #6 * and your extension. It will put you into your own mailbox.

Changing the voicemail message on Panasonic KX-T7731

The KX-T7731 isn't an answering machine.

If the voicemail is on an answering machine connected to your phone line, consult its manual/

If the voicemail is on the phone company's server, look up the instructions in the phone book, or conrtact the company.

Change auto attendant panasonic t7731

You may download a copy of the quick reference guide at http://www.ask-tsc.com/pdf/KX-T77xx.pdf

The KX-T7731 is just the phone. The auto attendant is controlled by the PBX. To change the message, please consult the manual for the PBX. If you don't have that manual, please reply to this post and specify the model of your PBX.

I bought a home with the Panasonic KX-t7731 phone system installed. We have a new phone number. I am unable to set up voicemail (although voicemail answers) and I am unable to retrieve my messages. Help!

What's answering the calls, is it the Panasonic system or the central office? When you figure that out, and it's locally, then post back with the model number of your phone sytsem cabinet and whether you dial 107 or 115 ot get into voice mail, or the message is left in the central office.

My voicemail light will not go off. I switched phones to a different outlet and the light goes off. It must be something with the wire/plug

If you understand that the light is a MESSAGE lamp and not a voice mail lamp, you might be able to dial the proper code to retrieve or reset the light. In a TA system that's 700 plus your own extension and # and all messages go away.

Panasonic KX-T7731 phone cuts off/mutes on hold music

My guess is that you have a KXT-624 or 824 system.Follow the instuctions here: http://www.onholdplus.com/products/7000series_connect1.html

Then, if you get lucky, when you go to any system phone and press "1" without picking up the handset, the music will play.

If it doesn't and you don't get MOH, you may have to do some programming in system program 111.
