There is no way to know what the tech did if anything, the 1st thing to do is pull the radio out and make sure u have 12 volts to two of the wires with the key on and to one with the key off, the other possibility is that if you didn't install this radio then the original owner a radio lock out code, if that is the case only pioneer can provide the procedure to override it or bypass it, check the power to the radio 1st.
