I'm sure they used a wiring harness, which gets power from the appropriate source. One of the things you might check is the fuse on the back of the radio. There is usually one there. What caused it to blow would be another question. Happy Hunting

OK, before you start splicing and frying your electronics in your vehicle, STOP! There are some place online that sell the vehicle side of the harness. Check on the Scosch or PAC website. If that's still not an option, check your dealer parts guy. Even if it costs you $100 to get a harness from a dealer, it's better than the $2500 to replace all your electronics and computer. But then again, that's your choice. Happy hunting.

How do i set the clock on pioneer deh2950mp receiver

I couldn't find your model. You can try the following procedure. It is common for most Pioneer decks:

  1. Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit shuts off.
  2. Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears.
*With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
  3. Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
  4. Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
  5. Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

Installing a dual cd player in a 2006 scion xb but dual cd player wont cut on unless both consistint power an ignition power are both together, making it impossible to hook up for memory.

The yellow wire needs to go to a constant source and the red wire should go to a switched (ignition) source. There should be a wire that is hot even with the key off.

SET THE TIME ON THE CLOCK. WHEN STARTING THE CAR AT A LATER, THE TIME HAS CHANGED. 2004 FORD EXPLORER.

is an after market radio installed in the vehicle? if so, it sounds like you have the yellow wire (constant power) connected to a switched power source. you need to connect it to a source that is still hot with the key turned off.

What wire or wired do i need to hook up from my wiring harness on my cd player so it will keep meomery

depending on the cd player, it should be labled "constant", "battery", or "memory". the common color is yellow or sometimes orange. some radios use red, but red is usually the "switched" or ignition power source. hope this helps. dave

Hi! i just installed myself a new Dual Cd Player Xd 1222 on my ford focus 2002 4 door. The problem is when i start my car.. The dual reset every information like the bass and treble and all of the stuff....

This just means that you do not have your remote or memory cable connected to the correct power source. You need to connect this cable to a power source that continously runs. Underneath the driver side should be a fuse box. Connect the remote/memory cable to a fuse that runs, like maybe the old radio fuse. A schematic of the wiring for your vehicle would help you out a lot. This will show you the best source to connect the cable.
