MS Access Can you help?? I'm trying to create a survey in MS Access using 'option groups'. There are 10 questions with 3 choice answers-: yes, no, not applicable. How can the answers be calculated into totals and a report be made from them? Is there a template already created that can be used? Appreciate any response. problem is that 'option groups' in Access put the answers in one Colum giving me 1,2,or 3 I now need to separate the answers so I can add up the results

This will depend upon the question/option made. Anyway, sum / count the number of option having same answer and take the percentage. You will surely see how to make the conclusion.

How can i download ms access 2003?

Hi Mariano

MS ACCESS 2003 DOWNLOAD

Full, genuine, licensed versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded.

Microsoft have withdrawn downloads and direct sales of MS Office 2003 applicationss, including MS Access 2003, the only remaining support services being updates and security patches during Automatic Updates.

Here are some constructive, useful, helpful, practical options to consider instead.

One option is to download MS Office 2010 Pro 60-Day Trial and install it, carefully following each step:

Go to:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Access 2003 and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of genuine, similar free comprehensive Office Suite applications - OpenOffice and LibreOffice- downloadable free, from their original source, at:

www.openoffice.org

http://www.libreoffice.org/

You can use OpenOffice and LibreOffice simultaneously with MS Office 2010 Pro 60-Day Trial. If you delete MS Office 2010 Pro 60-Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and Restart before downloading and installing it again, it is usually possible to enter into further 60 Day trial periods.

If you are determined to continue using the full version of MS Access 2003, then you will have to purchase a full, genuine, unused and licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon:

Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that are masquerading non-existent MS Office products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services. Even if you do succeed in finding a Product ID or download site that seems to work for MS Access 2003, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Activation Code for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.

I hope this helps.

MS Exchange Server 2003 Public Folder Permissions

If you are using MS Exchange Server 2003 and you have ever wanted to hide a selection of public folders or just one. This can be done by using security groups.
The advantage of using security groups is that you can manage who has access to the public folder very easily. Before i start to explain a few things need to be set up first.
  • Your exchange server must be running SP2
  • Create a security group making sure that you also create a email account with it also.(This is the group you will use to set the permissions on the Public folder)
  • The end result of this is so that you can hide a public folder from multiple users.
Lets start
Load up Exchange System Manager and navigate your way to Public Folder. Now right click the public folder you would like to manage who can see it. From the tabs on the top go to the Permissions tab. You will now have three options the only option we are interested in is Client Permissions. Within client permissions is where it all happens this is where you can set permissions for a single user or add a group. We are going to use groups as it is more manageable. Next we need to change the Roles of Anonymous to None we must also untick the Folder Visible box. The next section we add the group that we are going to use to hide the public folder to do this click the add button find the group in the list and click add. Now to set the roles of the group to None and also untick the Folder Visible box.Navigate your way out of the menus by clicking OK
The Public Folder will now be hidden from the users in the group. There is one final step and that is to hide the Group from the global address list (GAL). Open the properties of the group in active directory and click on the Exchange Advanced tab then tick the option to Hide group from Exchange Address list.
I have attached a video also.

I've log in facebook home page, but there is a msg pop out asking me to complete a survey if not I can't go further to use the facebook. Pls help!!!

That normally happens when you are using a different location to log into Facebook, or if you are using a wifi connection in a location that is not your home as it will create a Differnt IP address each time. But you MUST answer all the question correctly, if you are not sure off the picture click on that option as if you get a question wrong it just keeps asking you time and time again

I am trying to set up a facebook account for my high school class reunion. I have set up an e-mail but dont know how to set up the facebook page

Basically you need to create a group.

1. When you log on to your facebook page, press the Home option on the top right of your facebook screen.
2. On the menu options down the leftt side of the screen press Groups
3. At the top of the screen press the + create new group button.
4. Follow the steps and enter relevant details.
5. Initially set yourself as the administrator of the group.(this way you can control who becomes members)

Once the group is set up you can invite members and/or if your privacy settings are public anybody can join.

Then by using the email all option of the group messages can be emailed to all members or they can post comments for all to see same as the wall on your own profile.

There are different options for privacy of the group and who can see the information of the group, who joins etc etc. See the groups help link (near the middle of the page) on the first page where you first select to create a group.

Please remember to vote if you find this helpful :-)

I want to learn that how can i connect my HTML page with my DATABASE created in MS ACCESS so that i can fill my table in HTML page directly-

1. You can use Pages option in MS Access. The page in MS Access is the web page in MS Access which allows you to access database in MS Access database.

2. You can use MS Office Front Page application and use the Form builder and connect your database in that.

3. You can also use Google Apps Business Solution for this however the database will not remain in MS Access but will remain in Docs online.

4. You can use .net application developer for this as well but needs expertise in that.
