Manage partitions I partitioned my C: drive successfully to provide a partition for data. Unfortunately the partition does not show up in COMPUTER. It clearly exists in the MANAGE DISCs utility. Even opening the new partition shows the contents here. In addition when I connect two USB flash drives the second one does not show up in COMPUTER. Is ther a solution or cause?

What should I do to rescue lost data from deleted partition?

If you have not written anything on the partition it may be possible to recover part of what was lost. Launch a Google search for some trial data recovery software.

My laptop keeps posting low disk space. how can I fix this?

You need to delete items to free up space. Not much else, but maybe run a defrag and disk cleanup.

I have accidentally formatted my partition drive f

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in computer hard drive erased permanently.

Those deleted data is still stored on the computer hard drive , it's just invisible or inaccessible. Only the FAT or NFTS table is erased (the information about where those data were saved), but the real data are still intact there in sectors of the hard drive.

So as long as those data are not overwritten by new data, it's highly possible to recover them. And the MOST Effective way is to rely on some format recovery programs.

Try asoftech data recovery program, which can recover data after deeply scanning your computer hard drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted. download the software from link below

My pendrive is 8gb kingston pendrive but it shows only 1.96 gb on computer. give me an advice to fix it pls...........

Check if you have a partition on the drive. Open my computer and see how many HDDs are showing if it only lists your pen at 1.9gb and no other drives apart from the OS drive you may have a hidden partition.
Right click my computer and click on manage this will bring up disk management see how many drives are listed apart from the primary drive (C normally).
I can talk you through the steps of deleting a partition however you would lose all the material on that partition.
If you did find a hidden partition in disk management you can copy the material to the desktop then delete the partition.
Have a look and let me know.
Hope this helps.

My 5633 acer keeps coming up low disk space on c how can I solve this

uninstall & delete any unused programs. Empty the recycle bin,run disk clean-up from system tools. Defragment the drive. If that doesn't help,I'd start looking into a new hard drive.

How do I remove a partition from windows Vista

depending on what your needs are.
to delete is go to the control panel then administration tools then computer management then double click on storage then disk management
it should display all the storage media that's in your computer

locate the partition down the bottom, right click then delete or format

then if you want you can expand the existing partition by using the extend volume in the right click menu

(make sure you back up your data on partition that is goin to be deleted)

you can also move your swap file to D: that gonna save some space on C.

5. click on D: and write a custom size(it should be double of your amount of ram)
